Massalia Potential is an independent association dedicated to science and mathematics education. Based in Marseille and founded by researchers and educators with international experience, we bring together educational research and classroom practice to develop more accessible approaches to teaching and learning.
We aim to help students reconnect with curiosity, critical thinking and the pleasure of understanding the natural world. Our work is particularly concerned with affectivity, sensemaking and the ways students develop a lasting relationship with science and mathematics. We recognize the potential of all types of students to realize their best selves through learning.
Through research, open educational resources, partnerships and selected educational programs, we work to make rigorous science education more meaningful and accessible.
